"On behalf of the Career Service Council, it is my privilege to announce that Sandee D. Meier has been named Traditions of Excellence Award recipients for October 2007.
Sandee works in Student Accounts/Cashiering Services Office and was selected for this award based on statements included in her nomination package, “While the Director of Financial Aid was out of town during registration Sandee went the extra mile. Sandee’s own duties take up most of her day yet she found time to help answer student’s and parents questions regarding student financial aid. She handled several difficult customers with decorum and composure. Sandee is an outstanding representative of the South Dakota School of Mines. We also agree.
Sandee, a Program Assistant 1 in the Student Accounts/Cashiering Services Office, has been employed at School of Mines since December of 1994.
