The Career Service Council is pleased to announce that the January Traditions of Excellence awardee is Monica Darrow. Monica is a Purchasing Assistant in Business Services. She started at Tech in December 1999 as a temporary hire as a Secretary in Business Services, and accepted the permanent position in January 2000. In September 2002 Monica moved into her current position.
Her nominator(s) said “Monica is just a gem. She is always willing to help and is always cheerful. She is patient and was an excellent teacher of the State’s requisition program in her previous position.
