The Career Service Council is pleased to announce that the December 2003 Traditions of Excellence awardee is Deb Tompkins. Deb is the Secretary in the Mechanical Engineering Department and started at Tech in May 1988.
Her nominator(s) said, “What is remarkable about Deb is her cheerful attitude, she is almost always happy and upbeat. When asked, Deb is always willing to go the extra mile and many times she goes the extra mile without being asked. She also is a Mother Theresa to many students from India as she has for many years taken them into her home and helped them to adjust to our culture.
