The Career Service Council is pleased to announce that the June 2006 Traditions of Excellence awardee is Richard Beshara. Richard is a Library Technician at the Library and was selected for this award based on statements made by his nominator(s). He has been at SDSM&T since October 2002.
His nominator(s) said, “Dick filled in for me and did my job while I was home recovering from surgery. The job is nothing like Dick’s usual job and I only had a few days to try and fill him in and prepare him for problems that may crop up. He did my job and his own for a month and he did it well. When I returned, I expected some problems to be waiting for me, but there were none at all. Dick stepped up and did a great job and made my recovery and return to work much easier.”
