The Career Service Council is pleased to announce that the January 2005 Traditions of Excellence awardee is Cindy Christensen. She is a secretary in the Career Planning office. She started at Tech in August of 1990 .
Her nominator(s) said “ Cindy does an excellent job in the Career Planning office and demonstrates a student-centered commitment to this campus. She always keeps the interest and needs of student "front and center" in her work. She relates well to students and is willing to "go the extra mile" to assist them with their campus interviews, as well as applying for jobs with employers that do not visit campus. Cindy demonstrates a high level of dependability and always follows projects through to completion. In addition, I am especially appreciative of the excellent job she did in keeping the Career Planning office running smoothly while I was on medical leave last spring her nominator stated. Cindy is a valued member of our office team, and she deserves recognition for her good work
