The Career Service Council is pleased to announce that the June Traditions of Excellence awardee is Lisa DeVries. Lisa is a Personnel Assistant. She started at Tech in March 1995 in Mining Engineering. She transferred to Human Resources in July 1996.
Her nominator(s) said “I have had the opportunity to seek the professional services of Ms. Lisa DeVries often. Without exception, she was there to provide me with the necessary information. Lisa never gave up on me and always answered the repeated questions professionally and pleasantly. Ms. DeVries was there to provide the information I need and more importantly in a manner I could understand. To an outsider, those state-mandated forms are difficult at best to understand and complete. She made the required process "almost" painless. She has performed her assigned duties at a high level.
