Center for Computational Sciences (CCS)
The Center for Computational Sciences at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) provides state-of-the-art resources for Grand Challenge computing as one of the high performance computing research centers established by the United States Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Computational and Technology Research, Mathematical, Information, and Computational Sciences Division. The CCS serves as the ORNL focal point for the U.S. High Performance Computing and Communications program. The CCS is home to a DOE National User Facility, the Computational Center for Industrial Innovation. The CCS is a partner in the High Performance Storage System development team, and is also a member of the Coalition of Academic Supercomputing Centers.
