STUDENT LOANS: PRIVATE ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMS
Larger banking institutions, such as Wells Fargo, U.S. Bank, Sallie Mae, College Loan Corporation (CLC), Wachovia and Bank of North Dakota offer private loan programs to further assist students who are unable to obtain sufficient Federal Student Aid in order to attend college. If you do not have any type of credit history, or you have had credit problems in the past, you will have to have a creditworthy cosigner. Restrictions to the amount you can borrow each year apply.
