The Career Service Council is pleased to announce that the November Traditions of Excellence awardee is Cindy Christensen. Cindy is a Senior Secretary in the Career Planning, Placement, and Cooperative Education Office. She has been employed in that office for ten years.
Cindy's nominator(s) praised her efforts for the SDSM&T's Career Fair this year. She handled the numerous logistical details and was an important factor in the overall success of the Career Fair. In addition, her organizational skills and attention to detail are demonstrated on a daily basis when working on arrangements with interviewers and students. Recruiters have stated that their campus interviews here at Tech run more smoothly than visits to other campuses. Cindy's nominator(s) stated that Cindy's dedication and good work should be recognized. Cindy states that she likes helping the students, and that she shares their enthusiasm and excitement when they find a job.
