August, 2001 -- Cassie Schweigerdt
The Career Service Council is pleased to announce that the August Traditions of Excellence awardee is Cassie Schweigerdt. Cassie is an Accountant in the Business Office. Cassie started at Tech in November 1991 as a secretary in the Business Office/Sponsored Programs. In August 1995, she accepted a Secretary position in EPSCoR. In September 1998, she accepted an Accounting Assistant position in the Business Office. In June 1999, she accepted her current position.
Her nominator(s) said “She is knowledgeable in so many different areas. She does not hesitate to help when asked. Her quick and efficient manner leaves one with no doubt she has a clear understanding of so many different aspects of this University. She is a total team player."
