Students Emerging as Professionals (STEPS)
Our vision is that every School of Mines graduate will be recognized as a professional when entering the workforce and will be an exemplary employee.
Business and industry seeks graduates who have technical competence and professional skills – leadership, teaming, integrity, motivation, and more.
Some School of Mines students have participated in various professional development opportunities such as CAMP teams, leadership training, and societies. STEPS takes our efforts to the next level, allowing all of our students to make the choice to succeed, both personally and professionally.
