LABORATORY
REPORTS
Laboratory reports will be graded based on the
organization, proper reporting style, discussion of the results, evaluation of
the procedures, and presentation. As a
minimum, the following must be included.
- Title
page (experiment(s) run, dates performed, lab group members, location,
etc.)
- Index
- Introduction
(short description of the purpose of test(s), location of samples if
known)
- Results
of all tests, including the graphs.
- Discussion
of the results
- Evaluation
of the experimental procedures
- Conclusions
- References
- Appendices
- raw
data
- sample
calculations
- derivation
of equations that are not definitions
