March, 2002 -- Tisha VanRavenhorst
The Career Service Council is pleased to announce that the March Traditions of Excellence awardee is Tisha VanRavenhorst. Tish is a Secretary in Student Activities and Leadership Center. She started at Tech in September 2000 as a temporary hire in Student Activities and Leadership Center. She accepted the permanent position in September 2001.
Her nominator(s) said “Tish has a very difficult job -- she has to manage multiple priorities from multiple people -- a confusing and daunting task. Tish does it with such ease you never see how busy she really is. Tish’s customer service skills are outstanding. She is very talented at working with students, getting them the information they need, and teaching them how to get things done. She makes the office a fun place to work in and a place where people know someone will help them. Students can count on a positive interaction when they are working with Tish.”
