Faculty desiring a WebCT course for upcoming semesters need to provide Rick MacDonald with a suggested ID for the course (e.g. BIOL101) and a course description (e.g. Dissecting Frogs). SDSM&T has now switched to campus version 4.10. The sooner you get Rick the information, the sooner he can have you up and running. Also, you can have a course started for you and not be teaching it this semester
This software will be the standard for the Electronic University Consortium (EUC) or "Virtual University" (offering 100+ online courses).
User name is always first 7 digits of your Student ID card Number
i.e. (1234567)
Password is set first time to (Birthday/ID number)
i.e. (010120061234567)
Birthday January 1st, 2006 / ID card number 1234567
Please do not use Password Reset Option unless you have previously setup the email address it will go to. This will create a random password of upper and lower case letters.
WebCt Login and Passwords are CASE Sensitive
Students are not allowed to add courses, if your course does not appear under your name your instructor needs to add you.
Having Pop-up blockers or Java script blockers running will cause you to get the message "You are not authorised to view this page" or may not even bring up the login screen. Please turn them off and exit your Internet Browser, then come back to the site.
